Hotel Vondel Garden - Amsterdam

* Clean, modern room, comfortable beds, helpful staff, great location

Rooms are notoriously small, with poor design choices that lead to awkward bathroom experiences, like trying to brush your teeth without hitting the wall. Breakfast scheduling is a hassle. You'll need to book a time slot and may still find yourself waiting for a table. One guest had trouble with overcharging related to timing that casts a shadow over the hotel's management consistency.

The location near Vondelpark offered a peaceful escape while being just a 10-minute walk from major attractions. The room, although small, was comfy enough for our short stay. Warm showers were a plus, and hot beverages from the kettle were enjoyable. The staff, especially Sasha, provided excellent service, helping us with navigating the city and accommodating our needs. The lack of a physical boundary in the shower area caused water to spill across the bathroom, leading to some inconvenience. Breakfast was quite minimal with very limited seating, requiring us to book time slots. The stairs to our room were steep and could be challenging for those with heavy luggage.

And charming street while being only a few minutes' walk from major attractions. The room was impeccably clean and the breakfast offered various delicious options.

The family room was compact, included shower facilities, a hairdryer and free toiletries. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, view over park was good. The atmosphere created was family! Thanks to a nice service I had a relaxing stay.

We stay in guest room quite often, it is large and compact. Shared bathroom is decent sized.
